TriQuint Announces Internet Availability Of Proxy Materials For Its 2008 Annual Meeting Of Shareholders
HILLSBORO, OR (USA) – April 11, 2008 – TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc.® (NASDAQ: TQNT), today announced the Internet availability of proxy materials for its 2008 annual meeting of shareholders under the new U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Notice and Access rule. TriQuint’s proxy materials can now be found at http://www.triquint.com/investors/materials/annuals.
Under the new Notice and Access rule, companies may satisfy the proxy material delivery requirements by delivering a “Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials” to shareholders, providing Internet access to the proxy materials and providing a set of printed materials by mail to any shareholder who requests them. TriQuint’s shareholders may obtain hard copies of proxy materials free of charge by following the instructions provided in the “Notice of Internet Availability of Proxy Materials” which is being mailed to shareholders. TriQuint elected to adopt the Notice and Access procedures for some of its shareholders in order to reduce printing and mailing costs and minimize the impact of the Annual Meeting on the environment.
TriQuint’s annual meeting of shareholders will be held at the company headquarters at 2300 NE Brookwood Pkwy, Hillsboro, Oregon at 4:00 p.m. Pacific time on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.
